Bad Luck Bad Run
Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog post! This post will involve a Practice-to-Race 2 report and Driver of the Weekend on the fast but technical race-track, Gelleråsen Arena. There were lots of competitors and we had two special competitors which I will mention! Sigurd Frederichsen and Michael Karpers! Sigurd is a guest driver on the weekend, and did a solid performance on the race, of course, potential is there to reap, but with the right coaching, he will race into the top 10. On-top of that, we had Michael Karpers returning into the drive, while not the fastest, he was driving very nicely and fairly with the other drivers! But now, we will get onto the report!
Practice
Qualifying

Race 1
Race 1 was the first sign of trouble with the car. Although I had a good pull-away from the start, I wasn't able to get past with William Isakson who, again, proved to be a hard defender during the race, especially with my technical issue that I had. I was fighting hard for 10th, who was held by Max Stjernlund and had other competitors in the likes of Enzo Cohlin, William Eriksson, and Devan Grabko. Although I was successful at pulling away from Eriksson and Grabko, I was not able to catch up to 10th position due to the issue that I had. I had 10th position around 50% into the race, but I quickly lost it to Enzo Cohlin who was faster on the straights. The issue didn't allow me to put torque onto the wheels which made it difficult to get speed out of the exit of turn 9, which made me slow on the straights. I ended up later in P11.
Race 2
This race, made the issue that I had more obvious than ever. Although for the first half of the race, I was able to keep up with the fight for P10, but without straight-line power, it was near to impossible to get ahead of the competitors or at-least stay in their slipstream train, and then, after about 60% into the race, the issue worsened tenfold. The car was slow in the straights, and it was very obvious because I had 3 drivers overtake me due to my slowness. After about 12 minutes into race, I retired, able to score a point for the race. After the race, me and my team had to decide to risk with the issue and try to finish race 3 or retire and properly fix said issue and ultimately, in my stead, I chose to not risk the problem getting worse and to fix the issue right. This was the decision I made, considering the amount of information we have. The issue would be possibly fuel related

Overall
Unfortunately, it was the worst weekend of the year, as I had to retire race 2 and race 3, scoring minimal points considering my overall performance this year. This will make holding top 10 and getting higher positions in the championship much harder than we thought. However, with Elias Adestam as my coach, we will be able to race faster and hopefully hold the top 10 in the championship and maybe P8! With 4 races left to go, it is anyone's race. And, after a month break, and repairs to the car, you will see me in Knutstorp, stronger than ever!

Driver of the Weekend
DOTW Overall: Kalle Svensson! He finished in high positions after missing the Midsweden Race Weekend, and after seeing the results, we can tell how hungry he was to make recovery after missing a race weekend. Qualifying P5 and maintaining top 5 until Race 3 (Where he scored P7) while being ahead of drivers like Oscar Mellstig or Fredrik Lindholm, he kept his composure and held top 5 while he still could! Amazing work Kalle, and hopefully we will see a race win!!!
DOTW Junior: Fredrik Lindholm! He has done it! After getting out of the top 10 in race 1, he was a mad driver, in a good way! Recovering from P14 to P6 in race 2, and getting a podium in race 3, he is a screaming eagle! He did the right moves in the right time and thats how he has gotten a podium! Once a top 10 contender and now a Podium contender, we will see onto Knutstorp and see how Fredrik will perform there, and I believe that he will be a winner!!!
DOTW Rookie: Enzo Cohlin! Mr. Consistent, he kept his cool, and managed to hold top 10 throughout the race weekend, never faltering and never failing. He never gives up and thats what racing is! To never EVER give up! This shows the amount of potential that Enzo has and how with the right teaching, he can be able to compete for much higher positions! What an amazing driver! Great job Enzo, and we'll see each other onto Knutstorp!!!
Amazing job to all these mentioned drivers, and lets keep fighting! GO BEYOND!!!
