I've pushed through properly! (Rudskogen 2026)

Hello everyone, My name is Pete Norback, and this weekend, I finally got my first and second junior podiums. LETS ROCK!

Practice & Qualifications

Surprisingly, It didn't all go so well during Practice. We've had issues with tire wear, and then suddenly, a bolt on the suspension got loose, which caused the rear left to become loose and have a different toe. Despite our best efforts to fix the issue, the toeing still resulted in crab-walking the whole weekend, though, we managed to mitigate the symptoms. Other than that, we qualified ourselves in P8, which was below par.

Race 1

It was quick to become one of my best races this year, even commented by my coach, saying that it surpassed even 2025 Falkenberg where there I had my first top 5, and there is good reason behind it, because this race, I achieved my first junior podium. Through battling with fast drivers like Mason Bjerring, Erik Blixt, and Albin Gustafsson, I passed them, I fought them, I wrestled to get my first ever junior podium of this year and practically my whole racing career. It mattered a crap ton to me, and it will continue mattering to me for the longest time ever! Simply UMAzing!

Race 2

This race has shown us a problem card. The straight line speed. Holy, when I was on the slipstream, I had no speed gain, in-fact, I hold the same speed as the other drivers who drove without slipstream. Unfortunately, this inability to fight resulted in us dropping down to P6, and unfortunately, no junior podium to take back, so it was an unfortunate race for me.

Race 3

Race 3 was simply amazing. Guess what. I HELD THE LEAD FOR 3 seconds. Until straight line speed and the fact that Albin and Linus were working together to pull away, I held my own, and after dropping down to P5, I managed to remain P3 in junior, and guess what. That is my second podium. It's nothing more than skill and good coaching that came to play despite having a car that wasn't performing up to par. This was nothing more... than a legendary performance.

Driver of the Weekend!

Total DOTW: LINUS STJERNELUND! You thought he was gone, didn't you? No no, he was merely hiding his talent and allowing the other drivers to get the glory, cause he returned and his skill has not disappeared! He not only took pole, but he also won Race 1 and Race 3!!! Absolutely mental! Great job Linus and an umazing welcome back!

Junior DOTW: EVEN HOFF KNAI! Even had a tough time this weekend, being knocked out of pole position by Linus, and a win at Race 1, He relented in race 2 where he fought for the win, well deserved! But, in race 3, he got knocked out by another driver, and dropped many positions as a result, but, even so. HE DROVE HIS AHH ALL THE WAY TO P3. That's crazy. That's fast! Woah, That Norwegian is fast! Great job Even!!!

Rookie DOTW: Mason Bjerring! There's good reason behind this. Uh, he spun out on the formation lap of race 3, and yet, even if he had to start all the way from the back, this guy, he's crazy, he driving fast because he went from last to P7, which earned him the total junior podium of P3. Which, he beat me by about 3 points. It's tough to see that but that's racing unfortunately, and overall, it's great! It's fun! And I hope to see him win soon. Good fighting Mason, and hope we fight again in Denmark!
