Off with a blast!

28.09.2025

The season has finally ended, and it has ended in the most spectacular way possible for me, showing proof that now I have the pace of the top level of drivers. Although we didn't come home with a podium, we come here with the recorded proof of amazing pace.

Practice 1 & 2

The practices were amazing. No mistakes, not even a lock up. It come home with the presentation of the pace I have with the top drivers. Thanks to Elias Adestam's coaching, I was able to truly harness my true pace of this fast circuit.

Qualification

Qualifications went even better. I held provisional pole position in the first half of the session, being beat out by 4 other drivers towards the end of the session which drops me down to P5. There was lots of chaos during the qualification and that meant many red flags. Some people can say I got lucky that I had a red flag to end off the session, but I think my qualifying pace helped me out by a mile + slipstream from Albin Gustafsson.

Race 1

This race was simply lovely. I held P4 after making a masterful overtake on another driver for the first half of the session. But, despite my pace, the dang safety car existed. A competitor's engine just simply decided that their service lifespan was too long and just decided to die on the spot which made the competitor stop on-track. The safety car took a while, but after the safety car ended, Mister Comeback - Christan Loven made on overtake on me alongside Albin Gustafsson AND Leonel Skaar overtook me too which meant I dropped down to P8. I managed to hold on just long enough, that I passed Oscar Mellstig who simply spun out in the first chicane, which made me come home up to P7. Nice

Race 2

This... wasn't so great. While I was holding on, I was overtaken by William Isakson, and while attempting an overtake on him, he closed the door on me and I did a 180. It dropped me down to like P18, but your boy, is quite fast. I overtaken 5 cars before the end of the race. 3 I overtaken with simple skill and 2 drivers decided that rallycross was funnier with these cars and took each other out. Unfortunately, the safety car lasted all the way till the end of the race so that was quite boring.

Race 3

Race 3 was not so much better. Started P7 and finished P7. I did manage to get P4 at one point but, ya know safety cars. Always there to ruin my race Lmao. But yeah, I got overtaken by a chunk load of people and I was forced down to P7 and despite my best efforts to take positions, the race finished sooner than I thought (Because the damn safety car periods are just too frecking long.) so, it was again, a boring race.

What happens now?

The season now being over, means that we have a-lot of months to train for next year races. It is clear I have the performance of the top drivers and I need to maintain that. I will be doing a-lot of sim training, physical training and racecraft training. The car will also undergo a complete overhaul and new livery for next year (I promise y'all, It will not be the boring 2024 livery or the (barely) noticeable 2025 livery), and I already have some ideas in my head (One idea is to name the car like how Vettel did). Next year will be a new year, filled with promise that I will win. There is a big chance next year and I will take it and I know with the many days of training, I will be able to achieve that goal!

Driver of the Weekend

DOTW Overall: Linus Stjernelund! Congratulations to our Junior Champion of the year, driving like a legend. Despite not getting the overall championship, he managed to get Rookie and Junior championships! The guy drives flawlessly, and this weekend, he was driving perfectly! Amazing job Linus!

DOTW Junior: Albin Gustafsson! Despite some crappy starts and being clogged up in traffic, he kept focus and used other drivers to his advantage, driving up to podium positions! An exploiter and a composed person, I don't know if he'll ever break! What a legend!
DOTW Rookie: Gustav Berglund! Getting his first Aquila Career win this weekend in the final race. Some people can say he got lucky with SCs and all that, but in my eyes, he's just a very good driver. Sad to see him leave Aquila but I know he'll do amazing in whatever he'll do next! Amazing job Gustav! Let's see what you do next year!
