SOOOOON (Sturup 2026)

ts is just ragebait atp
Well... This was beyond disappointing. So I'm going to skip the oh so happy introductions and explain how this weekend just sucked
Practice
Okay, maybe the practice wasn't all so bad. I managed to get some training on the morning of Friday, and we did have some issues at first that was quickly resolved towards the end of the morning session which was the only session I had which I was able to actually focus on training.

Qualifying
After a good session and with the help of a friend, Even Hoff Knai, I was able to snatch 7th place after a struggling time with the track. This track is very technical and difficult and it is one of the places where I really wanted to exceed, learn, and excel on, since I really do like this track a-lot. Overall, it was a bit of a disappointing qualifying, but it seemed to get better in...
Race 1
Now, I have to come clean, I got P6, but that was because Andreas Skatteboe had a DNS after feeling sick from Qualifying and Practice, which I understand. The weekend was scorching hot, reaching temperatures up to 35 degrees Celsius, which for our infrastructure, was extremely hot and our bodies were certainly not built for it.
But anyways, for the majority of the race, I managed to hold onto P6, until Kevin Strandberg who started a position ahead of me, locked up, and his suspension blew up and that resulted in him skidding off track and beaching the car, which resulted in a safety car coming out, and this was a major mistake. At-least on my end during the safety car. I. Didn't. Weave. I overestimated the heat, both from the sun and the car ahead, but they weren't even enough to heat up my tyres, so 2 laps after the safety car ended, I ran wide, and let P5 slip from my hands to which I ended in a disappointing P6.
The End
Wait already!?! I know some of you all are a bit confused, but unfortunately, I lost out on both Race 2 and Race 3, due to more technical issues and I felt like there was no need to write more about our losses. We concluded in a post-race inspection that we had issues with the exhaust system and fuel system which resulted in a total loss after Race 1, which means we came home nearly empty handed again. But what happens now then?
Honestly, we don't know. And unfortunately, we'll be missing Knutstorp which means our chances of even having a decent championship position is becoming dimmer. However, even after Knutstorp, 3 race weekends remain and while my morale is a bit shot, I do hope that I'll be returning with a stronger performance and car that will, together, bring that junior podium home. That is now my permanent goal this season.
Unfortunately also, I couldn't determine anything for driver of the weekend, but I would like to commemorate this part to Enzo Cohlin who amazingly got P1 in the last race of Race 3. Honestly, he has come a long way and he deserves this win. Great job Enzo and I hope to see everyone in Kinnekulle.
