Holy shit. Did I just cook this race

Test Sessions

Test sessions came with much promise, but still off the top 5 pace, as the field was extremely tight, meaning that you really need those milliseconds in order to be able to race fast and high up in positions. But what came later is nothing short of a personal victory.

Race 1

I genuinely cooked in this one. I crashed out in qualifying, making me start at the back of the grid, and it was raining. And if you thought I crashed out, Bite me cause I frickin cooked this race. From P15 to P7, I weaved through the pack like a driver possessed. I learned the wet conditions quickly (and with 0 prior practice too), and found out how to find time, which eventually landed in that sweet spot that we call the top 10-

I got disqualified...

Race 2

Another AMAZING race. Due to my "poor result" prior race, I started last again, but you will not believe what I done. In spite of all the people who contributed to my poor result, I made a poor result turn into an UMAzing result, because guess tf what. GUESS WHAT. I GOT TOP 10 AGAIN, landing on P7. What is my driving!?! Clearly a crazed manic driving the wheel cause I was practically sliding myself into opportunities wherever I can find. I was not happy with quali, test, or race 1, and this was definitely the proof that fury can turn you into something else.

Race 3

And one more fact. I was NOT done yet. The accumulated points from the race weekend was unfortunately not enough to move me out of dead last place again, so, do you want to take a guess on what I dared to do? I did what I did on race 1 and 2. Weave through traffic as if I'm the average biker in the US of the A. You should never let me ride a bike, because I do crazy lane filtering and overtakes, even doing a double overtake at one point in the final corner and turn 3, which are quite difficult places to overtake at... Okay maybe not the final corner, but turn 3 is hard. I ended up in P8 after a last lap brakes failure, which allowed driver Carl-Wilhelm to overtake me in the straight with EIGHT HUNDRETHS TO SPARE. WAD DA FA-

Overall opinion

In my perspective, my racecraft has definitely improved, alongside my adaptation capabilities. I am able to adapt to shifting conditions quickly. This wasn't the race we expected, but for my first time back into Aquila after skipping half of Sturup and all of Knutstorp, this was definitely something that I am proud off. Small setbacks happen, but in the end, I will never let that stop me.

Driver of the Weekend

DOTW Overall: Overall, the driver who has shown their best, this one definitely has to go to Julius Gyllin as earlier on the season, he was fighting for the top 10, and it was hard to catch some of those top 10s. This weekend however, he has shown his capabilities to be consistently in the top 10, only missing out on the routine of driving in the rain which resulted in him retiring in 2 races I believe. However, this is a show of skill that may result in a new potential top 5 driver incoming!
DOTW Junior: In the junior category, this one has to go to William Eriksson, who kept on showing consistency the whole weekend, even after crashing out in qualifications. He doesn't get fazed, and shows that he is a force that shouldn't be confronted on the tract, able to consistently fight and hold Top 5 positions. Great job Eriksson!!!
DOTW Rookie: Now, this may be unexpected, however, this one goes to the rookie driver this weekend, Niklas Falk or Nic Falcon if you look on the side of his car. Especially in the rain, for someone who is new to driving these cars, I didn't expect him to already have pace, even if it isn't top 5, to be able to fight in the top 10, as a rookie, in the wets, in one of your first outings? It isn't a minor feat. What an amazing drive Niklas!
